Mirror’s Edge Catalyst recommended PC specs are rough

Minimum is doable, at least!

A pal just explained to me that 16GB of RAM is “the new standard,” so maybe you’re all immune to the sticker shock, but I’ve still only got 8GB of RAM, damn it, so a literally doubled recommendation? That’s pretty big. I wonder how much longer I can go on before I have to get new games on console. (And, no, I’ve got no plans to buy a slightly-better PS4, hah).

Anyhoo, EA’s got your PC system requirements for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.

Minimum

• OS: Windows 7 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
• CPU: Intel i3-3250 / AMD FX-6350. (game equires at least quad-core)
• RAM: 6GB
• HDD: 25GB of free space
• Video: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB or better/AMD Radeon R9 270x or better
• Input: keyboard, mouse, dual analog controller

Recommend

• OS: Windows 10 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
• CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz/AMD FX-8350 at 4.0 GHz
• RAM: 16GB
• HDD: 25GB of free space
• VIDEO: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB or better/AMD Radeon R9 280x 3GB or better
• Input: keyboard, mouse, dual analog controller

So, can you run it? Maybe the upcoming April 22 beta will be a good test.
