Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been delayed

Now releasing June 7

Say it with me — release dates are subject to change.

EA has just announced that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will miss its originally intended date of May 24. Instead, it’s being pushed back by two weeks and will hit on June 7 in the US and June 9 in Europe.

The good news? This is based on “player feedback from the beta,” and several aspects of the game will be adjusted. So far from what I’ve seen of the game I’m equally excited (open world) and cautious (more of a focus on combat) — we’ll see come June if it measures up to the brilliance of the original.
