Sweedish book Minecraft: The Unlikely Tale of Markus “Notch” Persson and the Game that Changed Everything, was written by journalists Linus Larsson and Daniel Goldberg, and has been translated by Jennifer Hawkins for Seven Stories Press. It’s coming to our English-reading eyeballs this November 5th.

Through interviews and investigative work, this book gives us the full rags to riches story of Notch and how he created one of the most popular games available, Minecraft.

Seven Stories says that they’re partnering with Mojang and will crowd-source photos of Minecraft player creations for a full-color insert to be included in the book.

At this year’s MineCon, set to kick off some time this fall, Larsson and Goldberg will be there to sign books. And speaking of signings, pre-orders are now being taken on the Seven Stories Press website; the first three hundred copies ordered will be signed by the authors.
