What to expect from Mina the Hollower
Mina the Hollower puts you into the shoes of Mina, and your objective is to rescue a cursed island. You will have to gear up with trinkets and sidearms to take down different enemies and monsters who will try to thwart your mission.
While the game is very much a hardcore retro in terms of design and esthetic, the animations, controls, and visuals will have a modern feel to them. Leap and dodge enemies to avoid taking damage, and then use your weapons to destroy them. While you can use your Nightstar to do damage, there are plenty of alternatives available as well. You can also equip trinkets to trigger their exotic effects in your pursuit of killing every enemy in your path.
There are plenty of secrets to uncover, battles to win, and levels to clear. Mina the Hollower has a 90+ Metacritic score as of writing, but there’s no demo to check out. You can currently wishlist the game on your respective platforms since there’s no pre-order to avail.
