Mikami, Kojima, Suda drop science (now is not the time for jokes)

(Editor’s Note: The above clip comes courtesy of 1up, and portrays a roundtable discussion between Hideo Kojima, Shinji Mikami and Goichi Suda at the recent Snake Vs Zombie Event in Tokyo. For those of you without aural passages stuffed full of fish, subtitles have been provided.)

After watching the entirety of the clip, I’m sitting here with my jaw on the floor at the sheer amount of talent they could fit on that stage. That chat was the gaming equivalent of an episode of Jon Favreau’s Dinner for Five where his guests include the reanimated corpses of Orson Welles, Akira Kurosawa, D.W. Griffith and Vince Vaughn (for that one-note levity he blatantly stole from Dean Martin). Had Shigeru Miyamoto walked within a hundred feet of that stage, the entirety of the audio would consist of wet crunching noises as heads throughout the audience swell up and pop like overripe pomegranates.
