In a recent investors conference call, Take-Two CFO Lainie Goldstein crushed hearts with a desire for speed by revealing that the release Rockstar’s Midnight Club: Los Angeles has been pushed back. The game will not hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PlayStation Portable (as Midnight Club: LA Remix) on October 21.

The delay is due to wanting to release the game in “a more favorable market window.” Translation: they can make more money if they release it closer to the holiday. Makes sense, and it’s good to hear that it’s not because of a snag in development. When we went hands on with the game a few months ago it was shaping up nicely, and the build Rockstar had running at PAX looked polished and just about ready to ship.
