Microsoft cares about Xbox Live Indie Games again

Xbox Live Indie Games just got a placement upgrade. No longer hidden from plain sight, they are now integrated with the main game marketplace splash page, as shown above. This is no doubt a response to the myriad of complaints lodged against Microsoft for burying Indie Games — both from indie developers and consumers alike.

In regards to this change, Microsoft stated “Microsoft is continually working to better organize our digital game content on the platform and your feedback played a part in that.” With Indie Games in their rightful place, I’m pretty much content with the new Dashboard — unless that awful 5-year-late Chuck Norris World of Warcraft ad comes back.
