Microsoft’s Major Nelson sent out a tweet that lets us know that they’re aware of a color output issue some users began seeing after installing the Fall Xbox 360 update. The technically inclined members of Destructoid’s readership tell us that the issue surrounds a degrading in color in video playback. Some say that the color of video is now washed out and dull, though I never noticed an issue. Ignorance truly is bliss.
MS is on the case, Nelson says:
We’re aware of the colorspace issue w/ some Xbox video apps & are working on a fix. No ETA yet but we hope to have an update soon.
