If there’s one thing that would get me interested in an Assassin’s Creed movie, it’s the attachment of Michael Fassbender to the project. While I have very little hope for the film, Fassbender (and his penis) is generally pretty great in everything, even if the rest is sub-par (Prometheus).
As far as Assassin’s Creed goes the movie isn’t in development hell, and will start filming in September for a December 21, 2016 release. Marion Cotillard is also involved — will she be the Lucy to Fassbender’s Desmond? We don’t really know right now, but I hope they go in a new direction and Desmond’s story stays buried.
