I never made it to the Cocoon boss in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. After seeing this new toy version of the mobile fortress, I’m kind of thankful I didn’t; Snake would have lost the fight right then and there, no question. This thing has a retractable chainsaw, guys. There is no winning.
The figure is from Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai, so presumably you’re getting your money’s worth here. The Cocoon is up for pre-order now at around $200, and depending on where you shop, it can be in your home anywhere from November to early 2011.
This would’ve been a perfect match for my collection of Z-Bots back in the day.
