Pachuca played Dorados de Sinaloa over the weekend in a Liga MX match up (that’s Mexico’s top soccer league — go Deportivo Toluca F.C.!) and Pachuca’s social media presence put some real effort into celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pokemon.

Unfortunately Pachuca didn’t manage to be the very best as the match ended in a 2-2 tie, but nice to see yet another instance of pro soccer and Pokemon colliding.
