Custom creations make me amazingly happy. I think most of all I love the idea of injecting a much loved system with creativity and individuality. eBay is always a great source for these types of treasures, such as this custom painted Metroid NES. As cool as it is, starting it at $199 seems like instant eBay death — don’t you people know the key to Internet bidding is fooling people into thinking something is cheap and then continually yanking the fishhook as the price goes up? Sigh. I’m going to go back to looking for a Samus suit now (someone put one of those on eBay, for f*ck’s sake!)
