Platinum Games may have a cat problem

Cats. Who doesn’t love them?

As many of you may recall, the demo for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance had a solitary cat that many of you referred to as “Ninja Cat.” That was only one of many adorable creatures that were supposed to be in the game originally.

Above, compliments of Platinum Games, you’ll find a video showing off just how many feline friends were going to join Raiden on his adventures, intermittently throughout the game. In the end, Platinum only went with Ninja Cat, who is impervious to Raiden’s ninja skills or attacks. Maybe it’s for the best.

Wait, nope, everything is better with cats.
