Complete Memory Mania Mystery #1 and #2 quests
Before you can get going on this task, you first need to fully work through the Memory Mania Mystery #1 and Memory Mania Mystery #2 quests. All parts of this quest series must be completed in the specific order to unlock the next pieces and progress through it.
Find Joy
Once you’re prepared to start this mission, find Joy around your valley. Chat with her to officially accept the Memory Mania Mystery #3 quest, thus kicking off the mystery.
Talk to Joy inside Mickey’s house
Head over to Mickey’s house to talk with Joy inside. You can place his home anywhere you like, whether it be in the main valley, a DLC world, or on a Floating Island, so the region you need to be in to find it varies for everyone.
Open the Mystery Memory Orb
Chatting with Joy gets you a new Memory Orb to look at. Check your inventory and open the Memory Orb to view a photo of Mickey’s house from the past. Scan this picture carefully for what comes next.
Talk to Joy to review case details
After checking out the image, chat with Joy inside Mickey’s house. She’ll then ask you to use the information you learned from the image to figure out what’s missing from his home.
What’s missing from Mickey’s house in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
A photo frame is the item missing from Mickey’s house during the Memory Mania Mystery #3 quest. A bright red, framed photo of Mickey Mouse is supposed to be hanging right over the stove next to the fridge in the kitchen, but it’s not.
Search the area where the photo frame was last seen
Walk over to the spot where the missing photo frame was last seen, which is the stove in the kitchen. Upon reaching this spot, interact with the sparkles there. Doing so reveals another Mysterious Black Feather for you to collect.
Bring the Mysterious Black Feather to Joy
Pick up the Mysterious Black Feather near the stove, then walk over to Joy to pass it to her. Finishing this last step officially wraps up the Memory Mania Mystery #3 quest. There’s only one mission left to go to claim the Deep Dark Secret Goose.
