Mega Man X6 released on Japanese PSN, US version might be possible after all

Licensing issues be damned?

Just last month, Capcom explained at length why Mega Man X6 wouldn’t be a good candidate for a PSN release. It had to do with licensing issues regarding the game’s soundtrack, but it seems as if those fears have been quashed, as the publisher has released the game this week in Japan.

We’ve reached out to Capcom to see if a western release is still possible, and if said issues extend specifically to the overseas market.
