Meet the crew in Watch Dogs 2

Hey, that rhymed

Ubisoft released a new trailer for the upcoming Watch Dogs 2 earlier today. The video begins by introducing the other DedSec operatives your character, Marcus Holloway, will be working with.

In addition to showing off some of the San Francisco setting, the video also shows us a lot more than we’d previously seen of the main antagonist, Dusan Nemec. Dusan (pronounced Douche-ahn), head of the tech company Blume, looks like a yoga instructor with a haircut like Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Recreation. We’re informed that he’s been using his money and his company’s data to influence people in ways they don’t realize. Seems kind of farfetched.

The trailer closes by demonstrating a bit of the combat. Marcus uses sort of a weaponized yo-yo in a few of his melee attacks, but can also use his hacker magic to make helicopters crash or just run people the hell over.

I skipped the first Watch Dogs partly because I didn’t have a system that would run it at the time, but also because the setting and protagonist didn’t look all that exciting. The sequel looks like something I’m more interested in, if only because the hero seems to have more of a personality. Watch Dogs 2 will release on November 15 this year.
