And check out this weird controller!

Left 4 Dead: Survivors is shambling to test locations in Tokyo today, courtesy of Taito. The Japanese arcade release sports a number of subtle changes to the classic zombie-shooting formula, including a strange new controller that looks just like a Wii Nunchuck.

The localization also features a quartet of new protagonists. This time around players will take on the roles of American bartender and veteran Jordan Blake, tour guide Sara Kirishima, school girl Hirose Haruka, and college student Yusuke Kudo.

Despite all the Japanese characters, Survivors retains the series’ American setting. It seems these folks were visiting the United States on a school trip when the outbreak occurred. Talk about a disappointing vacation.
