And I suppose you can get acquainted with the other whiny bitch, Nite Owl.1 Since you’re already here and all.
Warner Brothers has seen fit to release two trailers showing off The Watchmen in action. They’re character-focused vignettes demonstrating some of the fighting techniques in the two available characters for the upcoming downloadable prequel, Watchmen: The End is Nigh.
I have to say, the combat looks like it has potential but this really doesn’t give us a whole lot more detail in terms of what the plot might be or where it falls into the timeline of Watchmen. The actions of police in Nite Owl’s trailer suggests that it’s after the passage of the Keene Act in 1977, sometime in the nebulous period where The Watchmen have disbanded but these two characters continued to act as vigilantes in defiance of the law.
Anyway, both videos are after the jump so we can keep all of the kiddies safe from (surprisingly decent) blood effects and violence. And check back Wednesday for our review of Watchmen: The End is Nigh.
