Media Molecule has made its name with the critically acclaimed platformer LittleBigPlanet, but if a new job listing is anything to go by, the studio is not content to merely sit on its laurels, with a new console title currently in the works.
The job listing asks for someone with “experience writing and maintaining physics code,” who has, “shipped a console game with an online component.” Both these elements hint that LittleBigPlanet 2 is in the works, which should have been a given anyway, considering how hard Sony has been pushing that prospective franchise.
Until then, all we know is that the title is due to be a “Ground-breaking, AAA, PS3 title for Sony Computer Entertainment. At the time of writing, it was only confirmed that Media Molecule was working on LBP for the PSP, and since MM is only a small studio, it was believed that there wouldn’t be enough hands for a whole new PS3 title. Apparently this is not the case.
Are you ready for even more LittleBigPlanet, or do you hope Media Molecule has something entirely different up its sleeve?
