In Mech Showdown, there are eight characters you can obtain, and each of them is strong in their own way. Now, even though most fights in MS are decided by skill, some mechs do give you an edge in them. With that in mind, we prepared the following Mech Showdown tier list to help you with picking the best mains out there.

Mech Showdown Tier List
In the tier list above, we ranked every character in Mech Showdown based on how strong they are overall, both in PvP and PvE scenarios. Surprisingly, the starter characters, Swiftblade, Titanfist, and Gunslinger, are very powerful. So, you don’t have to buy any extra characters to be competitive. However, if you do have some Nova Tokens 
to spare, then Steelfang and Hawkeye are great picks.

Below, you can check out the pros and cons of each character in Mech Showdown. Also, we included the recommended skill loadouts for each of them. Keep in mind that most characters have very versatile skill selection, so feel free to experiment with different skills until you find a perfect combo that matches your playstyle.

How to Unlock Characters in Mech Showdown
You can unlock new characters in Mech Showdown by purchasing them using Nova Tokens in the Characters menu. At the beginning, you get three characters for free: Swiftblade, Gunslinger, and Titanfist. To edit the skills on a character, click the Edit Skills button on the right side of the screen. Each character has additional skills that can be unlocked, which cost SOL 
.
