Rockstar has announced the release date of the next batch of content for Max Payne 3, a new multiplayer pack called, Painful Memories. Included in the pack are four multiplayer maps, “Marty’s Bar,” “Canal De Panamá,” “Shoot First” (a yacht stage!) and, in a throwback to the original Max Payne a map based in Roscoe Street Station. Yes, you can now relive the opening stage of the game which no doubt made the development teams of nearly every shooter for the next five years have discussions about whether or not to implement a bullet time mechanic.

Along with the maps come a couple of new assault rifles, items, avatars and so forth to further spice up your game. The pack will run you $9.99 on PSN and PC, 800 MS Points on the Xbox 360, while purchasers of the Rockstar Pass will naturally be able to download at no charge.
