Master Roshi joins Dragon Ball FighterZ as DLC September 18

Old’s Cool

It’s been well over two years and Bandai Namco’s excellent tag-fighter Dragon Ball FighterZ is still going strong. In fact, a brand new DLC character will be made available next week: the Turtle Hermit himself, Master Roshi.

Master Roshi made his debut in the original Dragon Ball anime way back in 1986. As the trainer of such luminary characters as Goku, Gohan, Yamcha, and Krillin, he is a feared fighter, and known as The God of Martial Arts. Like so many “old man” characters in classic anime, he is also a colossal pervert.

As you can see in the trailer below, Roshi’s age and small stature belie his galaxy-defying martial-arts abilities, tackling opponents with lightning-fast punches and kicks, while beefing himself up for devastating Kamehameha attacks. In a shocking finale, one of Roshi’s super attacks sees the Turtle Hermit confine his opponent to a tiny bottle! Yikes!

Master Roshi will be made available to purchase on all platforms September 18. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
