Set some aliens on fire in remembrance
Yesterday, BioWare announced Citadel, the final piece of Mass Effect 3 single player DLC. It will be one of the last published works featuring actor Robin Sachs, who died earlier this month at the age of 61. Sachs lent his voice to the bounty hunter Zaeed in Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, near the end of an acting career lasting more than forty years.
In remembrance of Sachs, BioWare has announced Operation: Tribute, which aims to “honor and avenge our comrades who fell.” In reference to his rifle and abilities, players will receive a special commendation for playing multiplayer with weaponry similar to Zaeed’s. Operation: Tribute begins today and runs through this Sunday, February 24th.
I haven’t spent much time with Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer in a few months, but this may be reason enough for me to get back into it, if only for a weekend. Will any of you join in and pay your tribute?
