Marvelous-looking metroidvania Ori and the Blind Forest pushed to 2015

More time for polish

Delays aren’t usually all that interesting as a topic of discussion, but in the case of Ori and the Blind Forest, a revised release date is an excuse to further cement its name in your mind.

Ori is a tough platform adventure title built on the shoulders of Super Metroid and A Link to the Past, a good start, and then you see how it looks in motion: wonderful. Moon Studios has pushed the game’s release on Xbox One and PC to early 2015 to allow more time for polish.

Looking at screenshots like the one above reminds me that, as long as I’m waiting, I should play more of Rayman Origins and Legends; those gorgeous games put a smile on my face every single time. I’m expecting to have a similar reaction to Ori and the Blind Forest next year.
