Marvel vs. Capcom Origins compiles two games for XBLA/PSN

It would seem that enough people bought Capcom’s digital re-release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, since there’s plenty more where that came from. Headed to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this September, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins combines Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.

In terms of new features, Marvel vs. Capcom Origins is packing GGPO-enhanced online play that includes eight-person lobbies and a spectator mode; “HD graphical upgrades”; dynamic challenges; and replay saving. Keep that specific wording in mind when looking over the attached screenshots.

Interestingly, the company already has a price point in mind: $14.99. One can only hope we’re past the days of waiting until the last few weeks before release to hear how much a game costs. Are you feeling this game? I probably don’t even need to ask.
