Marvel Tokon is coming soon to PC and console users worldwide, and we won’t have to wait long for the full launch. Developed by ARC System Works and published by PlayStation Publishing, the upcoming 2D fighter features some iconic names from the world of Marvel Comics.

Marvel Tokon release countdown
Marvel Tokon goes live worldwide on Thursday, Aug. 6. The following countdown will expire once the game goes live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 8am PDT
- 10am CDT
- 11am EDT
- 3pm UTC
- 4pm BST
- 5pm CEST
I am not expecting any changes this late in the hours. If there is any update, I will duly make the changes on this guide.
What to expect from Marvel Tokon
Marvel Tokon is a four-vs-four tag team fighter featuring iconic characters from the comic universe. If you took part in the open beta, you will have a fair idea of what to expect.
You assemble your team from a host of iconic heroes and villains, and they go up against each other. With 20 different characters available at launch, you can adopt different playstyles.
Every character has their own unique combos, strengths, and weaknesses. With a 4v4 system, you have to build a team that is well-balanced and synergizes each other.
While I am excited about the full story mode, you can also go up in friendly battles to duke it out with your buddies. There will be online lobbies that will support up to 64 players, featuring standard versus modes.
In simple terms, how you want to play is completely up to you. While the open beta is now over, you can wishlist the game on Steam to stay on top of the upcoming launch.
