Season four of Marvel Rivals is a big one, with fresh faces joining the lineup, new maps, Team-Ups, and much more. Here are all of the main features included in this update.

  • Angela and Daredevil – Angela is the season 4 launch hero, and she’s a formidable Vanguard. Daredevil will be released halfway through with season 4.5, and not much is known about him yet. Although his role hasn’t been revealed, his abilities lend themselves best to a Duelist role.
  • New battle pass – All seasons come with a fresh battle pass to work through. No details for this one have been unveiled yet.
  • New and reworked Team-Ups – The Divine Armory Team-Up between Angela and Thor is joining the roster this season. Dimensional Shortcut with Magik and Black Panther is being removed, while Arcane Order with Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange is adding Magik, and Gamma Charge with Namor and Hulk is adding Black Panther.
  • New maps – A new Convergence map called Heart of Heaven is arriving on Sept. 25. All seasons have included two maps so far, so we can likely expect to see another one in the second half of the season, too.
  • New events – All new seasons come with plenty of fresh events to tackle, and so far, at least two have been confirmed for season four. The first is the second volume for the summer swimsuit special, with new outfits for Invisible Woman, Human Torch, The Thing, Mantis, and Punisher. The second may have been accidentally leaked, as no official information has been revealed yet. In the dev vision volume nine video, there’s a tab for an unannounced Halloween event.
  • New hero accessories – A fresh batch of accessories you can unlock to better personalize your characters is arriving on Sept. 25. This includes new items for Cloak & Dagger, Luna Snow, Magneto, and Scarlet Witch.

There’s lots to look forward to when this update arrives, but also plenty to get done while you wait. If you’re not sure what to do, consider tackling some tricky achievements like Days of Future PastArrako Goes AnalogMutant and Proud!, and Whispers in Pieces.
