The new midseason update for Marvel Rivals arrives soon, but there’s no new hero this time around.
For the first time in several seasons, only one hero is being added. Gorr dropped when season 10 began last month, and this midseason update is set to focus on limited time events and quality of life changes, along with balancing updates.
Here’s everything coming in October for Marvel Rivals.

Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame modes

The delayed Avengers: Infinity War mode is coming when the update drops, described as a “fast-paced” two-vs-two mode where 12 players form six teams from 13 heroes from the 2018 movie. It’s a deathmatch battle on the fields of Wakanda, where losing a round means losing health, and when you’re out of HP, you’re out.
In between rounds, there are ability upgrades to keep things fresh. And at the start of every match, each team gets a random Infinity Stone that gives big power-ups, and you can claim the enemy team’s stone for the ultimate final battles.
But on Oct. 22, the Avengers: Endgame mode kicks off with a 50-player PvE adventure against the Mad Titan himself, Thanos, just like the final battle of epic 2019 film.

And then on Oct. 29, the Halloween Night of Illusions begins, described as “a thrilling, suspenseful interactive puzzle experience.”
