Mario Kart 8 update unlocks 200cc and Mirror Mode for everyone

In a move that will annoy some and please others, Nintendo has issued an update for Mario Kart 8 that unlocks the new, fast-as-hell 200cc class as well as the track-reversing Mirror Mode. Just boot up the game and you’ll see a software update prompt for version 4.1.

If you were putting off clearing Grand Prix cups on 150cc to unlock this stuff, you’re in luck — no more stressing over last-second losses against the conniving AI racers.

Now you can stress over the ridiculous 200cc class like the rest of us!
