Manifold Garden is finally done and it’s out this week

Landing on the Epic Games Store and Apple Arcade

Nearly seven years later, it’s time to lose ourselves in the “Escher-esque” world of Manifold Garden.

Designer William Chyr is releasing his recursive puzzle-adventure game on the Epic Games Store and Apple Arcade on October 18, 2019. To think back when this project first got underway all those years ago as Relativity, neither of those platforms even existed. It’s been quite the journey, even just for fans.

If you’ve lost track, you might vaguely recall Manifold Garden as the game where you can walk off a ledge only to find yourself suddenly plummeting from the sky. The abstract world “repeats infinitely in every direction and falling down leads you back to where you started.” It’s such a trippy effect.

From the outside looking in, there’s been a real ebb and flow to this project. It’s so nice to see it wrap up.
