After a short delay, The Nintendo Switch edition of Arc System Works’ arena-fighter Kill la Kill The Game: IF has finally been updated to Version 1.20, following a similar patch released last month on PS4 and Xbox One.

The new update brings with it a run of bug fixes and balance tweaks, which you can read about in the official patch notes. But more importantly, it brings HonnÅji Academy’s most fearless student, the amazing Maki Mankanshoku, to the roster as a free playable character.

As previously noted, Mako is a gal with a heart bigger than her stature, with a fighting spirit to match. At her best in close-quarters combat, Mako uses her speed to chase down ranged opponents, before raining down blow with reckless abandon. Any fighter brushing aside the diminutive pugilist is likely to find themselves on the business end of a real day.

Kill la Kill The Game: IF is available now on PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
