The original eSports network, Major League Gaming, has launched a new premium online video streaming platform called MLG.TV. The new site offers a 1080p HD player, along with a Twitter-driven chat feature.

MLG.TV has eSports programming daily, on top of streaming events like the upcoming Columbus, Ohio MLG Championship taking place November 22-24. MLG.TV is also airing a regular show called eSports Report every Thursday at 7PM Eastern. Sports Center, basically.

So MLG is getting into the whole streaming business, butting up against Twitch and UStream. Except in this case it’s all MLG produced only, and it’s just for eSports content.
