As well as Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, there has been one other Namco Bandai game that I’ve really looked forward to this year. It hasn’t received half the press and marketing, but it is a very charming looking game that I very much enjoyed playing at E3. It’s called Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, and you should download the demo today.

Majin is a game about a cute monster who looks a bit like Ludo from Labyrinth. He works with a thief to fight these black, sticky creatures. The visual style evokes thoughts of Team ICO’s work, but it has a sense of charming character all its own. I’m really pulling for this game and hope the full title is as good as I think it’ll be.

In any case, you can get a taste of it this morning. I sincerely hope everyone gives it a chance.
