Remember that time we reported that Calvin “Megatron” Johnson was going to be on the cover of Madden 13? Well now EA has something to show for it, as the game’s official boxart has been revealed via Facebook. I would have rather had Cam “Superman” Newton, but alas, at least 4% of you felt otherwise. As for the game itself, as much as people knock on sports titles, there’s nothing quite like creating fantasy leagues with your friends over some ice cold beers — it’ll be fun popping Madden 13 into my disc drive again this year.
Outside of the video game realm, 2012 is looking like a mighty good year for the NFL. The crippled Saints, QB trouble on the Jets, the expectations of RG3, Goodell’s increasing iron grip on the league: the amount of storylines this season are astronomical. Anyone else looking forward to the 2012-2013 NFL season? SPORTS.
