Mad Catz makes peripherals, announces a lot of them

Recommended Videos

Days after Mad Catz announced their new wireless peripheral license agreement with Microsoft, the manufacturer and distributor announced a wide range of products sure to clutter store shelves in June and August.

The majority of the peripherals are Rock Band related (for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, of course), however, a few of them may be relevant to your Wii interests — if you’re short a controller or two.

Here’s the list of the new stuff:

  • Wireless Wooden Fender Stratocaster Replica Guitar (Xbox 360)
  • Wireless Fender Telecaster Players Edition Replica (Xbox 360)
  • Wireless Fender Precision Bass Guitar (Xbox 360)
  • Electro-Harmonix™ Overdrive Pedal for Xbox 360 (all)
  • Mad Catz Remote (Wii)
  • Mad Catz Z-Chuk (Wii)
  • Mad Catz Wireless Z-Chuk (Wii)
  • Mad Catz Blaster with Integrated Z-Chuk (Wii)
  • Mad Catz PowerUp Charging Stand for Wii Fit (Wii)
  • Mad Catz RetroCON Controller (Wii)

Now that, my friends, is a list of hardware. I wish my list of “things accomplished while at the gym” was this large. Unfortunatley, only my E3 “oh s–t I need to write this” list rivals what Mad Catz announced a few days ago.
