The Macintosh port of Cryptic’s City of Heroes launched a few days ago. You may have noticed that we didn’t carry the news quickly. That’s because we were afraid that the influx of spontaneous celebratory comments would overload our servers, causing them to catch fire. Tech gremlins are handy when it comes to tech things, but they aren’t any good at fighting flames.
So, hopefully you understand why the news isn’t exactly current. On the upside, we did obtain a brand new video to coincide with this announcement. It’s a City of Heroes parody of the Mac versus PC ads. Feel free to watch it and laugh for all the wrong reasons.
If you’re interested in the game, you can check out my meager impressions of the open beta. You can download the full client (featuring cross-platform play) at NCsoft’s official store or GameTreeOnline .
