Lucha Libre AAA: Heroes del Ring is out next week and I’m strangely excited for it. It’s probably down to cultural curiosity, but Lucha Libre just seems more interesting to me than the professional wrestling we have in the states. It’s a rich tradition of showmanship that somehow seems less cheap and tawdry than what the WWE produces even though the basic exercise is much the same.
