At today’s conference at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, LucasArts surprised everyone (and no one) by announced the Traveler’s Tales developed Lego Indiana Jones: The Videogame. Set to hit consoles in the Summer of 2008, the game will follow and parody the film trilogy, much in the same vein of the popular Lego Star Wars titles.
Oh, the marriage of Legos with popular franchises — how we can’t get enough of you! This title is the latest in the Lego (insert nerdy franchise here) series, that also includes the recently announced Lego Batman title.
To get nerds lubed up for the game’s release, Lego will also be releasing Indiana Jones playsets in January of 2008.
