Love thy neighbour with these cute Animal Crossing Valentine’s Day cards

If you have an Animal Crossing-lovin’ pal that you’ve been feeling the hots for, then Nintendo is trying to make it that little bit easier for you to declare your crush this Valentine’s Day. All you need do is send them one of these cards dedicated to your sweetheart’s favourite game, and then requited feelings, intense passion and Happy Ever After is 100% guaranteed.*

The six cards are available to download for free over at the Play Nintendo site. You just need to pick out your favourite, print it out, write your sweet nothings inside and feel pretty good about yourself, (it’s all about you, after all). But, jesting aside, hopefully these cute cards will help even the shyest neighbour share their feelings with the Isabelle, K.K. Slider, or Rover in their life. I mean, even Tom Nook has gotta have an inkling of romance in his cold, conservative heart… right?.. RIGHT?

Once the romance is out of the way, you can get back to the important business of video games. In particular, preparing yourself for the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which arrives on Nintendo Switch March 20.

*not remotely guaranteed.
