Lots of games may have just had their Steam releases leaked

Half-Life 3, Final Fantasy X, Sonic Boom

NeoGAF has caught wind of a whole load of leaked games potentially coming to Steam.

Some of the games were added as potential topics in Steam’s Help Desk support system, while others have been mentioned in changes to Steam’s registry and were picked up through SteamDB, which is often a pretty reliable way of telling what is and isn’t coming to the platform.

There are some very interesting titles popping up in the thread on NeoGAF:

  • Half-Life 3
  • Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
  • Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair
  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
  • Final Fantasy VI
  • Bad Rats Show
  • Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-
  • Little King’s Story
  • Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture
  • Sonic Boom
  • Earth Defense Force 4.1
  • Criminal Girls
  • Stranger of Sword City

Big Steam registry leaks like this are never 100% accurate, as ports can cease development, or the entries may simply be placeholders. However, they’ve also been right pretty damn regularly too, so don’t disregard the entire list just yet.

As usual, these aren’t confirmed by the developers and publishers, and we won’t know exactly what’s coming until they say. Either way, the idea of former console exclusives on PC is pretty exciting.
