There’s trouble brewing in Middle Earth. Lord of the Rings Online users were alerted to a security issue with Turbine’s LOTRO community web applications. On the game’s forums a Community Manager advised players to change their passwords just to be on the safe side, but the issue was “limited in scope” and anyone who’s account is believed to have been impacted will be contacted by Turbine. Let’s hope they tighten up that security.
Those of you who like to frolic with Hobbits — go change your password.
