The Lord of the Rings: War in the North may be the Tolkien experience gamers have been waiting for, but if you’re not quite sold don’t expect to find a demo in the usual spots. OnLive currently has an exclusive on a 30 minute trial version of the game. So, if you have a desire to bludgeon a few orcs into a sanguine pulp before you decide if this one is worth a purchase or not, you’ll have to grit your teeth and play via the almighty cloud.
War in the North hit North American shelves yesterday and will be out in Europe by this time next week. While the game will be available on the mainland on November 9th, unfortunately, UK audiences will have to wait until the 25th to get their hands on the copy. Until then you’ll just have to enjoy the demo I suppose.
