If you still haven’t decided if you want to buy Modern Warfare 3 on PC, then get downloading as you’ve got until Monday to get in as much free multiplayer action as you can muster. To help sway you further, there’s 33% knocked off the game’s price.
I have to imagine having free mulitplayer weekends for games must help shift lots of extra copies, and a quick glance of the Top Sellers list on Steam shows MW3 in second spot just pipped by the newly released PC version of Alan Wake. I’ve enjoyed playing previous free weekends to discover new games like Dawn of War 2 and Killing Floor, but surely you all know what MW3 is gonna play like, right?
Still, it would be interesting to see why people are buying the game now. Is it the price drop that’s swaying them now or is it gamers finally getting a big taste of the game’s multiplayer action? Are any of you guys going to pick the game up now, despite the fact it’s four months old and you will probably get slaughtered (okay, that might just be me)?
