[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick ‘King Foom’ Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]

I love strategy games, role-playing games, humorous games, and the thrill of the grind. So how is it that I have never even touched one of the Disgaea titles? Shame on me. Well, I’m looking to fix my wrong doings tonight on Mash Tacticsby jumping into the recently released, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darknessbut I have a feeling that I may need your help.

Backseat gamers rejoice, as now is your time to tell me how a game is played. As mentioned, I’ve never played a Disgaea title, ever, so I’m running in completely blind here and can only imagine that I’m going to be a bit overwhelmed. If you have some knowledge about the series and its gameplay mechanics, please come hang out during the show tonight and share your wisdom with me. Because, well, you know what they say: “knowing is half the battle.”

QotD: Do you prefer your strategy games to be turn based, or real time?
