We’re four hours in to Mushroom Men: The Spore War on Backlog and I’m having fun. There are some frustrating design elements, like the combat which has taught me that cutting and running is often the best solution. But it’s really easy to get cornered by a group of bad guys and mercilessly pummeled. No matter. Infinite lives and my limited patience will eventually win the day.
