Tonight Backlog starts a brand new game by diving in to 3D Dot Game Heroes. The game is cheery and bright, with lots of charm. But as a wise friend once told me, “cute doesn’t cut it in the morning,” so I’m expecting this game to hold up the other end of the stick and deliver on the gameplay. I’ve fiddled in this one a bit, mostly just playing with the sword, but I’m excited to kick things off tonight and really push through.
