Like me, The Sims 4 keeps getting ‘Smarter and Weirder’

Maybe just weirder in my case

In a new gameplay trailer released today, fans were given a sneak peek at the latest entry to the Sims franchise, The Sims 4.

Many of the old Sims tropes abound, such as electrocuting yourself when you attempt to learn how to repair electronics, and the embarrassment of having someone walk in on you while you are looking at a tablet while thinking about penguins on the toilet. If I had a dollar for every time that happened to me, I sure wouldn’t be looking for “affordable” apartments, I tell you whut.

What does look new is how your Sims deal with failure. Instead of giving up, it seems as though these new and improved Sims take it on the chin and keep on trying.

I know personally I can’t wait to make a family of semi-incestuous luchadores when The Sims 4 releases September 2, 2014. Also, that one Sim wet himself. Someone probably locked him in a room with no toilet.
