Titan Comics has shared some images and info regarding its upcoming run of issues based on DONTNOD’s dramatic video game series, Life is Strange. The following post (and likely comments below) contain spoilers pertaining to the end of the game’s first season.

Rather than be a straight adaptation of Life is Strange, instead the comic will serve as an epilogue to its events, told as if Max chose to allow the storm to wreak havoc on the sleepy town of Arcadia Bay. Issue #1 will find Max and her punky pal Chloe, one year down the line, dealing with the devastating aftermath of Max’s choice and what it has meant for the duo’s future.

“Their new life is fragile, built on foundations that they haven’t quite processed yet,” writer Emma Vieceli revealed in a chat with Polygon. “An invitation to honor those lost in Arcadia Bay is going to force them to face what they’ve tried hard to forget.”

Life is Strange Issue #1 goes on sale November 14 at comic outlets worldwide. You can check out some covers and concept art in the gallery below. I like the character artwork, by artist Claudia Leonardi. It has very ’90s quality to it, though Max and Chloe’s whole look and demeanor does make me jealous I’m not younger, hipper, and a girl.
