Level-increasing Borderlands patch now live

The time has come for you to pull out that Borderlands disc from the shelf or start up Steam. Update 1.41 is now live for all versions: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Steam, and retail PC. What’s it do again? I’m glad you asked.

  • The level cap has been raised by eight levels, so it’s 58 for OG Borderlands owners and 69 for those who bought “The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.”
  • Enemies scale to these increased level caps “throughout the whole game as long as playthrough two has been completed.”
  • Item drops minus COM Decks scale to the new level caps for enemies.
  • Glitches with Achievements and Trophies for “Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution” have been addressed.
