Let’s take a soothing break with ‘The Joy of Mario Making’

If we have even a halfway decent reason to talk about Bob Ross around here, you better believe one of us will seize that opportunity. The endearing, soft-spoken artist and television show host has been parodied countless times before, but this is one of the better spoofs I’ve come across.

In “The Joy of Mario Making” from A Dumb Thing, we’re taught to believe in ourselves, trust our instincts, and accept “mistakes” as happy accidents while creating levels in Super Mario Maker.

I’d love to see this concept adapted into a full-length series with genuine level-making advice.
